Get IP Status is a small public utility for checking the address a website sees, exploring IPv4 and IPv6, and understanding approximate IP location.
Data sources
This product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from MaxMind. Network organization is an ASN association, not a guaranteed retail ISP name. Geographic data are approximate, and some addresses have no location record.
Interactive maps use Leaflet and, by default, map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Tiles are loaded only when external maps are enabled. Cookie and consent controls use Silktide Consent Manager.
Optional device comparison
A separate, explicit action can request your device’s location once, after external maps consent and browser permission. The IP estimate and device position have distinct markers and accuracy circles. This always compares with your own device, even when looking up another IP. Device coordinates are not sent to our server or analytics; requested map areas can still reveal the displayed vicinity to the map provider.
